About DASJ
MISSION
The mission of Directors' Alliance San José (DASJ)To drive economic vitality and district safety, cleanliness, beautification, and capital improvement projects to the neighborhood business districts in the City of San José, California. The organization drives positive economic development activities for the area’s businesses, specifically in underserved and under-resourced business corridors.
BACKGROUND
DASJ is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, founded in 2023 by ten members of San José’s neighborhood business districts. The board of directors are comprised of the board chairs/presidents of each neighborhood business district.
San José is home to 80,000 businesses, of which 60,000 are considered small businesses. Throughout the city, these districts serve thousands of businesses.
